Hubbell Incorporated bringing electrical plant, creating 100 new jobs in Jefferson
ATLANTA — The Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) announced that Hubbell Incorporated, an international manufacturer of quality electrical and electronic products for a broad range of non-residential and residential construction, industrial and utility applications, will create 100 new jobs in Jackson County. “Hubbell Incorporated’s decision to open a new facility in Jackson County is a great win for the region,” said GDEcD Commissioner Chris Carr. “They will be able to tap into a talented workforce and business-friendly environment that will help them better serve a growing customer base. We will continue to work with our economic development partners in Jackson County to support the company in the future.”
Hubbell Incorporated was conceived by Harvey Hubbell in 1888. Today, Hubbell’s four groups – Hubbell Commercial / Industrial (HCI), Hubbell Lighting (HLI), Hubbell Construction / Energy (HCE) and Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) – offer a unique set of brands and products.
