Grand Canyon draws in $813M in economic impact
PHOENIX — The Grand Canyon still packs a punch when it comes to economic impact, pulling in $813 million during 2015 to the northern Arizona economy.
The money came from more than 5.5 million visitors to the region who directly spent $584 million. It accounts for more than 8,800 jobs in the region as well, according to a report from KTAR.com.
