Invest Southwest accepting startup entries for Venture Madness

PHOENIX – The third annual Venture Madness startup competition is now accepting early-stage company entries from the Southwest to vie for a shared prize of $100,000.

Invest Southwest and Arizona Commerce Authority will choose 64 startups, announced in January, to present their innovation and abilities at the March event to be held in Scottsdale at Talking Stick Resort.

Any rapid-growth company based in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, southern California, Texas or Utah that demonstrates early market traction and unique value is welcome to enter the competition. Top-tier investors will dine with the first 25 applicants in December and companies applying by the middle of November will receive two tickets to the event in March, along with a top-tier investor meeting. Applications will continue to be accepted until Dec. 17.
