DaVita Rx prescribes 500 new jobs in Chandler

PHOENIX – California-based pharmaceutical firm DaVita Rx announced plans to open a new service center in Chandler early next year. The 76,000-square-foot facility will employ 550 and will be located at Stellar Business Center on Chandler Boulevard, north of Stellar Airport.

The specialty pharmaceutical company will occupy a vacant building in the Price Corridor and joins Banner Health and CVS Health, which recently announced a specialty pharmacy employing 700 and covering 120,000 square feet in the same area.

DaVita Rx is based in San Bruno, California, and considered Columbus, Ohio; Nashville, Tennessee; Las Vegas and Los Angeles before deciding to locate the new facility in Chandler. The company will begin hiring late this year and plans to open Jan. 2 and be fully staffed and operational in two to three years.
