A worldwide leader in digital signage has indicated it will be locating its corporate headquarters in Scottsdale.
ZIVELO, a kiosk and digital signage manufacturing company based in Marion, Ind., is expanding its company profile by moving its corporate headquarters, and plans to add at least 70 jobs to the Phoenix metro market when it moves into a 13,000-square-foot space at Fashion Square Mall in Scottsdale this January.
With more than 250,000 square feet of manufacturing space throughout five facilities near Indianapolis, sales, marketing, customer service, and executive operations headquarters in Scottsdale, sales boutiques and showrooms in Los Angeles, Denver and Philadelphia, and 100-plus, value-add resellers globally, ZIVELO has rapidly grown to become one of the largest self-service kiosk manufacturers in the world.
Ziver Birg, CEO of ZIVELO, is a self-taught serial entrepreneur who was raised in Scottsdale and attended Arizona State University. In 2012, Birg was inducted to Inc. magazine’s “30 Under 30 List” of top young entrepreneurs and was recognized by Forbes as a “Top 10 Young Entrepreneur Creating Jobs.”
Birg was also recognized at the White House by the Kauffman Foundation as an Empact 100 honoree, a list that names the top 100 entrepreneurs under the age of 30 in 2011, 2012 and 2013. In 2013, ZIVELO ranked 697th on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S.
Downtown Scottsdale has seen significant interest from entrepreneurial technology companies in recent years, due to its appeal to young professionals seeking an urban environment with easy access to entertainment, employment and housing. In fact, while the current median age of residents in Scottsdale is 44, the median age in Downtown Scottsdale is only 32.
